Welcome to “Franklin on the Fourth”. This outstanding sponsorship opportunity puts your brand, product or service in front of over 10,000 sophisticated consumers, Thursday, July 4th, 2019. This family-friendly event is organized and produced by The Franklin Lions Club and the City of Franklin. This year the area will open early and be filled with music, homemade crafts, food vendors, large kids zone, and a petting zoo (with pony rides).
The purposes of this event are to celebrate the 4th of July by showcasing high quality musical entertainment and to raise awareness and money for the Franklin Lions Club. The Franklin Lions Club, a non-profit organization, raises funds to support the community.

The Franklin Lions Club is a group of volunteers that is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Any profits from the event go to support the many programs they support, including;
•Collect and recycle used eyeglasses and hearing aids
•Supports Vanderbilt TN Lions Eye Center
•Sponsor Stephenson–Garrett Scholarship to a local high school senior ($2000)
•Ed Lindsey Industries for the Blind (ELIB) (This organization runs a manufacturing facility in Nashville that provides employment and employment training for blind and severely vision impaired people in the area).
•Support two Fellowships annually ($2000) to LCIF
•Support Middle TN Lions Sight Services (medical services)
•Support Ed Lindsey Industries for the Blind (ELIB) Nashville
•Support Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic
•Support Leader Dogs for the Blind
•Support Lions World Services for the Blind (training and education)
•Sell ELIB produced brooms and mops (10 dozen/yr)
•Support local schools
•Support Vanderbilt TN Lions Eye Center’s “KidSight Outreach Program” screening of children through age 5 for correctable eye disorders
•TN Lions have screened over 285,000 children and found 14 ,000 youngsters who needed referral to a doctor for potential eye disorders.
•Sponsor My Friends House boys
•Supported founding of the Vanderbilt TN Lions Eye Center
•Co-sponsored a Habitat for Humanity home
•Placed Video Magnifier at Williamson County Public Library, Franklin to enable visually impaired to read.
•Support Graceworks Ministries, Franklin, by providing volunteers for Furniture Sales
•Other community charitable needs as they come up
